Exciting Announcement!
In 2024, West Plains Foundation acquired land in Banff Trail for $2.1 million to build a larger center. This new facility will support the growing number of girls and women participating in the programs provided by Westwood Cultural Centre.
A Development Permit application was filed in January 2025 and we hope to obtain approval by the fall. Construction is estimated to take approximately 18 months once we obtain the Development Permit. We hope to move into the new centre by the end of 2026.
